The pitch at Edinburgh’s Grange Cricket Club presented a challenge for batters during the second T20I between Scotland and Australia, making scoring difficult compared to the first match. However, Josh Inglis rose above the conditions, setting a new record for the fastest T20I century by an Australian with a blazing 43-ball hundred. His outstanding performance was instrumental in Australia’s commanding 70-run victory, giving them an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Travis Head, coming off a century in the first game, was dismissed for a golden duck, but Inglis quickly took control. He smashed seven fours and seven sixes, finishing with 103 runs from 49 balls. This century surpassed the previous record held jointly by Inglis, Glenn Maxwell, and Aaron Finch.
