The 23rd match of IPL 2025 between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) will be played today, Thursday, 10 April, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM IST, while the toss will take place half an hour earlier with the two captains — Rajat Patidar and Axar Patel — walking out to the middle.
This is the second match of the season at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. RCB played their first home match against Gujarat Titans, where they suffered a loss by 8 wickets. Today, RCB will be hoping to secure their first win of the season at home in front of their fans.
RCB vs DC 2025 Pitch Report
The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium is known for high-scoring games. The pitch generally offers good bounce and carry, making it easier for batters as the ball comes nicely onto the bat. However, fast bowlers do get some assistance in the initial overs. Dew can play a crucial role in evening games, making the ball slippery and posing a challenge for bowlers.
According to Cricbuzz, the pitch had a greenish tinge on the eve of the match. This is not the same surface that was used for the game against Gujarat Titans, but it still has characteristics that can aid movement off the pitch, as observed earlier in the tournament.
