The 24th match of the Indian Premier League 2025 will be played on Thursday between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Delhi Capitals at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. So far in the 18th season, RCB has played four matches and won three. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals have registered three consecutive wins and will now aim for their fourth under the leadership of Axar Patel. The team has shown great form since the captaincy change and continues to improve with each game.

RCB Likely to Make No Changes

Delhi Capitals have previously defeated Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Lucknow Super Giants. Meanwhile, RCB won their last match against Mumbai Indians by 12 runs. Considering their current form, Rajat Patidar may go with the same playing XI against Delhi. The team is performing consistently well. Phil Salt and Virat Kohli are giving the team strong starts, while Devdutt Padikkal, captain Rajat, and Jitesh Sharma are contributing with the bat. Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yash Dayal, and Josh Hazlewood are making key contributions with the ball.

Delhi Might Make One Big Change

Despite being on a winning streak, Delhi Capitals could make one major change. Jack Fraser-McGurk, who has failed to make an impact, might be dropped. Faf du Plessis could return to the playing XI in his place. While Delhi have won their last three games, Fraser-McGurk hasn’t delivered much — scoring just 1 run against Lucknow, 38 against Hyderabad, and a duck against Chennai.

Delhi Capitals Probable Playing XI: Faf du Plessis, KL Rahul (wicketkeeper), Abhishek Porel, Tristan Stubbs, Sameer Rizvi, Axar Patel (captain), Ashutosh Sharma, Vipraj Nigam, Mitchell Starc, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohit Sharma.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Probable Playing XI: Phil Salt, Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar (captain), Liam Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma (wicketkeeper), Tim David, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood, Yash Dayal.
