Following the 50th match of IPL 2025 between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians, there have been major changes in the Orange Cap and Purple Cap leaderboards. Mumbai Indians’ star batter Suryakumar Yadav has once again climbed to the top of the Orange Cap race. Playing at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, he scored an explosive 48* runs off just 23 balls, smashing 4 fours and 3 towering sixes against Rajasthan Royals. With this knock, Suryakumar has now scored the most runs in IPL 2025 – 475 runs in 11 matches.
Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Josh Hazlewood continues to lead the Purple Cap race as the top wicket-taker.
Among the top five run-scorers of IPL 2025, along with Suryakumar Yadav, Rajasthan Royals’ Yashasvi Jaiswal also features. However, Jaiswal missed an opportunity to strengthen his position in this match, scoring only 13 runs against Mumbai.
