Sarfaraz Naushad Khan, born on October 22, 1997, is an Indian cricket player renowned for his dynamic performances. He has represented Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy and played for the Delhi Capitals in the IPL. Sarfaraz showcased his talents on the global stage during the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cups of 2014 and 2016. Known for his aggressive right-handed batting, occasional spin bowling, and occasional wicket-keeping, Sarfaraz made headlines when he debuted for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL at the age of 17.

Despite his young age, he made a strong impression with his attacking style, notably scoring 45 runs off 21 balls against the Rajasthan Royals. His IPL journey had its ups and downs, including being retained by RCB for the 2018 season but eventually released before the 2019 season. However, he found success with the Punjab Kings, where he thrived with the support of his former teammates.

In a significant move, Sarfaraz was picked up by the Delhi Capitals in the 2022 IPL auction, possibly filling in as a wicket-keeper-batsman due to Rishabh Pant’s absence in 2023. Alongside his cricketing achievements, Sarfaraz embarked on a new journey in his personal life by marrying a Kashmiri woman from the Shopian District on August 6, 2023.
