Following the conclusion of the white-ball tour against Sri Lanka, where India secured a 3-0 T20I series win but lost the ODI series 2-0, the team will enjoy a month-long break before resuming with a busy home season. Starting in September, India’s schedule for the remainder of 2024 includes:
- Bangladesh Tour: 2 Test matches starting September 19 and 3 T20Is beginning October 6.
- New Zealand Tour: A 3-match Test series starting October 16.
- South Africa Tour: A 4-match T20I series commencing November 8.
- Border-Gavaskar Trophy: A five-match Test series against Australia, with the first Test beginning in Perth on November 22 and the final Test scheduled for January 3, 2025.
