Imad Wasim’s journey in international cricket commenced with his Twenty20 International debut for Pakistan against Zimbabwe in Lahore on May 24, 2015. His One Day International debut followed against Sri Lanka on July 19, 2015. Notably, he was part of Pakistan’s squad for the 2016 ICC World Twenty20. In a significant achievement later that year, he became the first Pakistani spinner to claim a five-wicket haul in T20Is, registering figures of 5/14 against the West Indies.
