    IPL 2024 Auction: Purse Money Left for Each Team

    IPL 2024 Auction is expected to be held in December 2023. All ten teams will look to buy their favourite players from the pool of hundreds of player that are supposed to go under the hammer. However, all teams have already spent a huge sum from their purse money in the IPL 2023 Auction.     IPL 2024 Auction Purse Money for All 10 Teams

    Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) has recently announced that IPL 2024 Auction will begin with a purse money of Rs 100 Crore for each team. Last year, the purse money was Rs 95 Crore each for every team. However, there is a catch. All the expenses that have been made so far are also going to carried forward. This means that team are ultimately going to be left with the purse money with which they walked away from the IPL 2023 Auction and an additional Rs 5 Crores.

    IPL 2024 Auction: Purse Money Left With Each Team after IPL 2023 Auction

    1. Punjab Kings (PBKS): Rs 12.20 crore (USD 1.47 million)
    2. Sunrisers Hyderabad: Rs 6.55 crore (USD 0.79 million)
    3. Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals: Rs 4.45 crore (USD 0.54 million) each
    4. Lucknow Super Giants: Rs 3.55 crore (USD 0.43 million)
    5. Rajasthan Royals: Rs 3.35 crore (USD 0.40 million)
    6. Royal Challengers Bangalore: Rs 1.75 crore (USD 0.21 million)
    7. Kolkata Knight Riders: Rs 1.65 crore (USD 0.2 million)
    8. Chennai Super Kings: Rs 1.5 crore (USD 0.18 million)
    9. Mumbai Indians: Rs 0.05 crore (USD 0.006 million)

    *An additional Rs 5 Crores is going to be added to the purse of each team in the IPL 2024 Auction.

    IPL 2024 Auction: Last Day of Retention and Trade

    Prior to the auction, all teams are required to submit their lists of released and retained players by a specified date, which, as per reports, the BCCI has set for the ten franchises on November 15. The auction pool is expected to be confirmed at the beginning of December.
